| Digital Video Interface (DVI) is used to transmit full-bandwidth, uncompressed direct digital signals between high definition equip DVD players, Plasma/LCD screens, set-top boxes and projectors. Devices will either be fitted with a DVI-D (Digital), DVI-A (Analogue) or DVI-I (Integrated) type connector, however QED only offer a DVI-D high quality cable.
DVI features high-bandwidth Transition Minimized Differential Signaling (TMDS video technology), which helps enable the viewing of uncompressed digital video. It is therefore forward compatible with HDMI.
